Pre-adoption Education
All prospective parents participate in a Hague compliant 10 week Parent Education and Preparation for International Adoption Course designed specifically for Adopt-A-Child families.

Post-adoption Studies
Following the adoption, 4 post-placement reports are required as a way to record the adoptive family's adjustment. Your social worker meets with one or both parents and the child to fulfill this obligation.

Adoptive Parents' Network
Informal gatherings are planned with specific topics for discussion. Social gatherings for the families are scheduled throughout the year, including our annual summer picnic and annual luncheon.

Consultation Service
If you have a particular concern regarding your child, parenting, or family relationships which you would like to discuss, our social workers are available for short-term or ongoing consultations.
