TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AT ADOPT-A-CHILD
It has been a little over a year since we brought our son home from Russia. What a year it has been! I have been happier this last year than I have been in my whole life, and Wesley will agree he has never been happier also! Evan is truly the light in our lives. I know in my soul that this is the child I was meant to have. It is as if he was born for me and I am so grateful to all of you for bringing us together. My cup runneth over…

Evan is sitting here beside me in his highchair eating pancakes and singing along with the TV. He is covered in syrup and has the biggest grin on his face. The day has just begun and I look forward to every minute spent with this beautiful child, a child of Russia. I can’t help but to think perhaps I may have brought the best part of Russia home with me but then I remember all the wonderful people we met over there and of the beauty of St. Petersburg and I know I just brought home one sparkling gem from a treasure chest of wealth. Words cannot begin to convey all that is in my heart. Wes and I are forever in your dept and you are forever in our hearts and prayers. Our gratitude is overwhelming. We look forward to seeing you all at the zoo.
